Thank You and Goodbye from Nirvana
After sixteen amazing years hosting lovely guests, we have finally decided to call it a day at Nirvana.
We were just a simple Mum and Dad team who knew nothing about hospitality other than to follow the great Indian tradition of care and respect. Our wonderful children-Sameer & Priyanka and Prashant & Noel supported us in every way possible. We grew with every booking and guest interaction, and we learnt a lot and very quickly too. To all of you who gave us positive and constructive feedback, we say: thank you. We came far and we thrived in many ways, but we also faced some challenges. Guests are amazing most days and then we host an occasional Karen who makes us wonder whether it was worth it at all.
Looking back today we can laugh, cry and also be super proud. During these past sixteen years, more than ten thousand visitors from all over Australia & New Zealand, Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Pacific Islands have stayed at Nirvana. From a newborn baby to the adorable Rose who celebrated her 92nd birthday here, from celebrities to Mums and Dads, from writers to musicians, from the super-fit hikers to the medically challenged guests; Nirvana has hosted weddings, anniversaries, engagements, family and friends get togethers, Birthday parties (21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 80th and in-between), Schoolies (who were much better behaved than many adults!), Mums’ and Girls’ weekends away, Sewing groups, Reading groups, Walking groups, Drumming workshops, Yoga retreats and much, much more.
A grateful and heartfelt thanks to our housekeeper/cleaner and DeFacto manager, Jess Lane for whom everything thrown at her was always “too easy”. Nirvana couldn’t have managed without her cheerful and exceptional disposition.
We gave it our all, but after sixteen years and a rollercoaster of a ride, it’s time to say goodbye. Thank you for all your love and support and for choosing Nirvana to create beautiful memories with family and friends! We wouldn’t have gotten so far without you. We wish you all good health and happiness.

Guests at Nirvana at Montville love the serenity of this well designed spacious home with many facets and areas to spread out. The views over the valley and adjacent Kondalilla Falls National park from the decks are spectacular! Maleny is just down the road. The 3 acres of landscaped gardens give the home a real country feel.

The Montville accommodation house is very private and yet only a few minutes away from charming Montville village. It really is country living at its best with reasonable tariff.

This property is amazing! You will feel like you are in your own little world staying here. Gorgeous, well laid out house, all the comforts you need and a view to die for! The hosts Rekha and Shekhar were just lovely to deal with and extremely accommodating. Would love to come back in Summer to use that gorgeous pool! Hopefully be back soon :)’
